Coach Certification

Again this year, our contracts with Divine Word Missions and with the Positive Coaching Alliance require that all coaches be certified. Coach Certification is a two-step process:
	1) Coaches and other volunteers working with the kids must be LiveScanned. If you were LiveScanned with our League in the last two years, you may not have to re-scan this year. Email me if you are unsure. More Information is available on our LiveScan Page . 2) Coaches are required to attend a Positive Coaching Alliance Double Goal Coach workshop. We host two clinics annually. Check our Double-Goal Coach Page  for more information.
Coaches who have met the preceding prerequesites will be issued a CAL Coach Identification Lanyard. Your manager will pick up your lanyard from the Snack Bar prior to your first game. All volunteers who run practices in the manager's absence, or who assist on the field or in the dugout on game day are required to wear their ID Lanyards.
